By William Seidman I’m still very excited a lot of the points David Rock makes in Your Brain at Work: Strategies for Overcoming Distraction, Regaining Focus, and Working Smarter All Day Long. Rock offers a really good summary on the neuroscience of learning, something I am passionately interested in. Can organizational and cultural change be accomplished using the techniques he recommends? Positive deviants already use most of the strategies Rock talks about. They prioritize not only for their own good but for the social good. Positive deviance is an undeniable asset for organizations, but only when it is recognized.]]>
