\t\t\t\tBy William Seidman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n This year’s\u00a0International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI)<\/a> annual meeting in Orlando was great. Some of the highlights were the opening presentation by Don Peppers <\/a>on leadership, particularly the need for leadership in these hard times. There were great presentations on Web 2.0 by Julia Bulkowski <\/a>and Erika Grouell, both from Google, use of stories in training by Jon Revelos (Bank of America), and about the transition from classroom training to e-training – web-based training –\u00a0by Allison Rossett <\/a>(UCSD). \t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[120,23,17,86],"tags":[304,305,306,296,307,308,51,309,310],"yoast_head":"\n
\nNo doubt due to the downturn, it was smaller than in the past — 500-600 people, but the energy level was high and my impression was that everyone who was there really wanted to be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
