\t\t\t\tBy William Seidman<\/strong>\n\nOn November 13, Rick and I are featured speakers at a meeting of the Oregon Organizational Development Network<\/a>\u00a0on \u201cGrassroots Change Management.\u201d\n\nThe biggest challenge for most organizational cultural change initiatives is to get large numbers of people to quickly and completely embrace a desired change. Grassroots Change Management engages many people quickly while supporting executive initiatives.\n\nBy integrating research on positive deviance, fair process, neuroscience and mass customization into a practical methodology, a grassroots approach to CM can change organizations\u2019 cultures faster, more predictably and more completely than was previously thought possible.\n\nIn this interactive session, I will introduce the science and methodology of Affirmative Leadership, a learning and leadership model that consistently produces cultures of greatness.\n\nAffirmative Leadership programs are centrally driven, but look and feel as though they were invented by each individual and local entity. The organization gets the efficiencies of standardization and the energy and commitment of local empowerment.\n\nYou’ll learn a few simple steps for creating an Affirmative Leadership program, including how to discover your star performers\u2019 wisdom and guide everyone else to embrace that wisdom as their own.\n\nI will share stories of how we have used Affirmative Leadership in organizations as diverse as Intel, Jack in the Box, and federal and state agencies with consistent, measureable, and positive results.\n\nAttendees will come away with a deeper understanding of:\n\n\n
